Self growth

Happy new month, it’s a new day and a new month and it’s so exciting, maybe because it’s also my brother’s birthday but then I mean we woke up feeling good, we have food to eat, we are healthy, we can walk, we can talk, the list goes on. There are a lot of things we should be grateful for, most of which are sometimes overlooked.

So it’s a new month, what are the things you planned out for this month, what are the things you want to do? Where do you want to go to this month?
Do you usually plan your day ahead? Do you write out what you need to get done?

I know the pandemic has really disrupted some things but still we can still get things done. I’d suggest writing your goals down for the month and breaking it to weekly and daily goals. Breaking it down makes it easier for us to get things done. We then have to allocate the time we want to spend working towards these goals.

My goal for the month is to work on my social media accounts. I just recently started learning about twitter and I’m enjoying it and hoping to gain more followers there and I enjoy engaging with the blogging and writing community there, they’re always so helpful and supportive. To grow social media accounts seems like a task sometimes but they are needed to really put our work out there and promote it.

Last month, there was a post I saw on twitter where people were commenting what they hoped to achieve that month and I participated in it. I found out that writing it down made me really work towards them. I commented that I wanted to grow my blog, Twitter and Instagram account to some certain numbers and I was able to achieve almost all of them except for my Instagram and that was because my account was blocked for some unknown reason. So writing down your goals and placing it where you can see it can really help you with working towards it. For me, last month I took a screenshot of the comment and viewed it frequently to see where I was, how far or how close I was to achieving the goal and to know what I needed to do to make it work. I was at two hundred followers in the beginning of the month of July and at the end of July I was at nine hundred followers, I’m still shocked by the growth even if it’s nothing grand because then I didn’t even know what I was doing or why I was getting followers. So this month my goal is to get up to 1.5k followers and possibly more. Growing my twitter account has also helped me in growing my blog since I get views through twitter. So be sure to check out my Twitter account and follow, I’d definitely follow you back.

For my Instagram, I’m currently at five hundred and sixty followers, it’s not my main account though, just the one I created recently for the purpose of this blog to post inspiring quotes and some blog post so if you’re interested in quotes on positivity, self love and personal development then the Instagram account is for you. I plan on growing it to seven hundred followers or maybe even one thousand if I’m lucky. I plan on changing my aesthetic and be consistent there because I rarely spend time on my Instagram these days because I’m promoting my blog post on Twitter. I want to post more sharable and valuable content and I hope it gets me the desired results.

I have a Facebook page too that I’d love to grow but I just haven’t wrapped my head about how to grow it or researched about it yet so I plan on doing that this month and also figure out Pinterest. Everywhere I check on how to get traffic to a blog Pinterest is always recommended so I’d really like to know what it’s all about and learn about it. If you have tips on how to grow on these platforms please share them with me.

So those are my goals for the month concerning social media, other things are to focus on myself and ways to become a better version of myself and learn different things through reading books and watching videos. I’ve found myself reading a lot of books and watching a lot of helpful videos during this period to help me become better or to learn something. Let me know the books you’ve been reading and the movies you’ve been watching.

Let me know what your monthly goals are in the comment section below and let’s interact. I love reading and replying comments and I want this blog to be as interactive as possible so let me know what you are up to this month.

This post is sort of an introduction to my next post which is how to set goals ,specifically monthly goals. I know I don’t normally post on Saturdays but I couldn’t resist, I wanted to wish you guys a happy new month and I’m hoping to start posting twice a week also so Saturday might just be the day. When I started writing this I just wanted to post a happy new month message with some quotes but I’ve already written something more tangible.

I hope you set your goals for the month and work towards them, don’t forget to let me know what you’d be up to and what your monthly goals are. Do have a blessed day and month. I hope you get to achieve everything you want to in this month and more. Stay well, stay safe and have a lovely day.

Writing goals down and having them in a visual place is always so helpful! I hope you achieve your August goals๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
Mine are similar in growing my blog followers and engagement. So i will be researching and posting various content on my blog ๐Ÿ˜Š

I love the beginning of the month when it’s time to assess what worked last month & lay out some fresh new goals!! This month I’m extremely determined to work on my consistency. As I reenter the real world, I plan to put as much work into my platform as I did with the time I was at home. Goood luck to you, we’re gonna crush it this month; I can just tell! lol

Amazing post Nianni , it is indeed a great way to start the month.

Thanks for the wonderful tips of goal setting. I’ve already set my goals for the month and now I’m going to take your advice and break them down into weekly and daily goals.

I’m a firm believer of not telling anyone my goals because it will give my brain the same satisfaction as achieving it.

Thanks for the article Nianni.

Thanks for sharing your goals with us and welcome to Twitter and the world of social media marketing. I agree that writing goals down makes them tangible and helps you be more accountable for them. My goal for the month is to earn at least $200 with my blog, so I’m currently working hard to achieve that. Fingers crossed x

I’m hoping to focus a bit on marketing since I just released a book. Plan to get to working on the sequels to that book and to do art for their covers.

Hey nianni…sorry this is coming late
Happy new month ๐Ÿ˜ฝ…my goals for this month are quite simple and it just involves me to improve my talents which will lead to improving my social media accounts.
Like u, I am also watching movies that are helping me out, like (two and a half men๐Ÿ˜น, sniper ultimate kill and others) some of them are helping change my character to others around me…and another thing on my list is to actually get serious in my relationship status with girls๐Ÿ˜ฃ(learn how to woo a lady๐Ÿ˜…)

But I love this blog…keep it up๐Ÿ˜‰

Yeah, improving on your talent is really nice and working on your social media accounts can be fun. Watching movies or videos that helps build you is definitely awesome because you get to be a better person and treat people around you better. Good luck on improving your relationship status ๐Ÿ˜‰
Thanks for reading ๐Ÿค—

There’s nothing I love more than a new month. This month I’ve just moved into a new house so I’m hoping to spend this month getting settled and building good routines in this house – including daily exercise, keeping on top of my blog, and making time to meet up with friends and family x

You’ve got some great goals laid out here, and I’m sure you’re going to smash them! Putting it out here like this is a great way to hold yourself accountable which will only help!
Personally, this blog has been growing pretty steadily, but the one thing that I have really just started focusing on has been my Pinterest account (and it’s showing, it has been growing steadily since I decided that I needed to make it a priority). I would LOVE to see the traffic from Pinterest doubling in August from what it was in July.

I love this post because it just has such a โ€œfeel goodโ€ feeling to it and I really like the positive vibes coming from you. Also, fun fact my brotherโ€™s birthday is also on the 1st haha! Anyways, one thing I really want to try and work on this month is just being consistent with my blogging and just getting my content out there. Itโ€™s one thing Iโ€™ve always tended to struggle with, especially since I work a full-time job Iโ€™ve kind of had to put my blogging/writing on the side and Iโ€™ve been trying to figure a way to transition that into making more time for it. Thank you for sharing! ๐Ÿ’—

Aww, now I’ve found my brother’s birthday mate and it’s nice that you are getting positive vibes from the blog. I’m also working on my consistency and I hope you map out time for your blog because I like your content and would love to read more. Have a great day ๐Ÿค—

My goals are to finish this one month workout plan and possibly keep going with it and eating healthier which is killing me.
I have to start remote learning with my kids so another goal is organization for my household and them to be able to learn better in a different environment.
Keep motivating me boo!

Awesome! I’m so happy for you! As for growing your Pinterest account, I take notes and tips from Melyssa Griffin! So, check her out and see if she can help you. It might be easier to look her up on Pinterest and click on some of her pins and check out her blog posts that way. I hope that helps!
